After participating in the Dubai exhibition, clients invited us to visit their agricultural production base to discuss how to improve crop growth efficiency through greenhouse environmental control systems. For example, they discussed which wavelengths of light are most effective for growing specific vegetables.

Dubai's agricultural environment is indeed harsh, with long and extremely hot summers, often exceeding 40°C or even reaching 50°C during the day. Open-air cultivation is virtually impossible, and without cooling measures, indoor temperatures in conventional greenhouses can reach even higher. Growing vegetables is challenging, and modern greenhouse lighting technology was developed to address these challenges.

Light is important, but it's only one component. Demonstrating how to coordinate light with other environmental factors is the essence of modern agricultural systems.

Automatically adjust ventilation, shade screens, wet curtains, fans, or misting systems based on the light intensity (PPFD) and daylight integral (DLI) to consistently maintain optimal temperature and humidity for the crops.

Because vegetables are short-stemmed plants, the customer's site utilizes a tiered system, with blue and red light strips installed on each tier. This enhances photosynthesis, speeding up crop growth and increasing their demand for water and nutrients.

This visit and exchange provided a deeper understanding of the technological applications of modern greenhouse agriculture, providing practical insights and experience for improving crop growth efficiency.
